Success!!!

I managed to keep my cool yesterday, so I'm really proud of myself. One of the 3 examiners forgot that he was supposed to come and actually participate on my phd exam. I had to call him, and we stared without him. By the time he arrived I was done answering for the other 2 examiners questions. I quickly answered for the third one and it was all over.
I got a five. (Five is the best note in my country.)

After that I took a train and went home. I haven't been home for like 5 weeks now... It feels good.
I'm reading Harry Potter now. This book is AWESOME! I want to finish it today, so I can leave it home for my sister to read. And tomorrow I'll meet some friends in Esztergom! I really missed them, so it'll be great!

Well... I did it! Read it all today, and I still had half the book to read this morning. That's it. The story is over. I feel a strange emptiness, though I'm really happy for the happy ending. It's like saying goodbye to old friends.
I read the first Harry Potter book when I was already a university student. There was such a hype around this books, I just had to read them. But since they were in the kiddie corner in every bookstore, I was too afraid and ashamed to buy a copy. So I downloaded the first book in pdf, and read it in English. My English was way worse back then. This was the first book I read in English. I just wanted to read a little to see if I understand it, but I couldn't stop. I read it in 3 days, and put aside all my shame, marched in to a bookstore and bought the second one. The names are often different in the Hungarian version, so I had a real hard time figuring out who is who and what is what. In Hungarian, Gryffindor is Griffendél, Slytherin is Mardekár, and so on... Many names differ, but the main characters are not changed. The Hungarian version of the 7th book only came out two weeks ago. I really had to concentrate on other things, so it took me 2 weeks to read it, which is a shame, I know... :)

I just want to say, I really wish, that my life's '19 years later' chapter will be as happy as Harry's. Besides, I'm the same age as Harry, since we both were born in 1980. Let's hope the best! :)
